About me

I´m writing under the alias of Lou Miller because I thought Cate Blanchett looked hot in Oceans Eight. Besides the fake name, the things I write about are real. I just thought it would be fun to have a fake name.

I´m in my mid 20s, 25, to be precise, which means I was born in the year of 2000. I try to navigate daily life circling around adulthood while I can´t sleep without my childhood teddy bear cuddled up in my arms at night. I wear old mans hats and carry around my pink flipphone that younger me would´ve gone insane for. It´s a good thing when things like these contradict each other, I guess. It means I´m giving space to all the versions living inside of me, each of them valid.

The one that wants to vagabond around the world with no plan of ever returning home. The one that craves a place to call home. The one who dreams of being a concert photographer. The one that wants to make the world a better place, even tho she has no idea what that would look like. The one that wonders what if she would´ve finished University to pursue a career in teaching. The one that thinks about how life would look like now if she had never left her hometown. All of them are little puzzle pieces that make me me.

This blog builds itself through all the things I love, the little puzzle pieces. Music, collecting CDs. The cinema and watching movies. Creating videos. Traveling. Talking about the most random things that keep my mind busy. The color yellow. Food items I´m obsessing over. And of course, writing.

Often I feel confused, the way that most people in their mid 20s are. When I feel that way, I write. I write and I write like it´s a magic trick taking all my worries away - and it does, even if it´s just for a while. So that´s what I´ll do here.
